You Mock Me For My Faith But……………

I feel sad for the people who chide me for my faith in an eternal life with God according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

I and others like me are constantly mocked by those who don’t share my faith or choose to practice their “own” version of what the Bible teaches us to make themselves more comfortable in or viewed more acceptably to this world.

So right now I choose to face you that mock me and I say to you today and forever more if I die and I’m wrong about salvation through Christ Jesus (and I’m not) then what has happened, what has been lost, what have you gained because of it?

Further, because of my faith I became a better man, better father, I was less likely to knock you “up side” the head for your wealth, I stopped being a drunkard, a thug, a drug abuser, an adulterer (before I met my current queen before she kills me, LOL!), I became less likely to become one of the statistically, young, black males that have ended up in prison or living a life of crime.,so if I die and you are right the world was still a better place because of my faith.

If I am right (and I know that I am and you’ll find out when you die that I am) and you die without being in the family of God you face an eternity of torment, torture, misery, grief, and all manner of “hellish” demons to be terrified with.

Unlike you I know where I’m going for I commune with God daily. He loves me, He cherish’s me, He admonishes me, He chides me, He jokes with me, He laughs with me, He smiles at me, He shines on me, and He lovingly adores me.

What’s worse if you call yourself a “man” or “wo-man” and leader of your house you will more than likely be responsible for leading your entire household into the gates of hell and you will have all of eternity to live with that and since I can’t live with that thought I choose to lead my family towards life and toward God’s marvelous light.

So as God’s words says in Joshua 24:15:  ” But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
