We Were Made To Worship Him!

Posted: July 26, 2013 in Articles, Religion

Revelation 4: 11: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Revelation 22: 3 There shall no longer exist there anything that is accursed (detestable, foul, offensive, impure, hateful, or horrible). But the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall worship Him [pay divine honors to Him and do Him holy service].

1 Chronicles 16: 29: Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array.

We are made with an innate desire to worship and you WILL worship something!

Be it celebrities, the stars, the stars (Hollywood type), athletes, sports figures, your race, politicians, kings, money, a way of life, and even…a President.

We have this desire because the Lord over all that has ever existed placed it inside you for us to worship Him but in His infinite grace He also gave us the free will to choose whom/what we will worship.

So choose this day whom you will worship…will it be all of the above or will you choose God?.

Will you worship those or those things that will never grant life?

Will you continue to place their words, their plans, their desires above the King of the Universe?

Those people, places, things, etc., are of no value unless they have been truly submitted to Jesus’ blood and THEMSELVES are willing to be under submission and will most certainly even with “good intentions” lead to hell and utter destruction.

He loves you today!

He has awesome plans, hopes, dreams, and a complete, perfect destiny awaiting you if you’ll only choose to serve and follow His path for your life.

When we choose to utilize our minds, our bodies, and our souls to do what we were created to do not only do we raise up a fragrant aroma whose scent is pleasing to Him but it also brings that “perfect peace” to our lives that “surpasses all understanding” and when those that are in our immediate harvest field bear witness to this peace they invariably and instantly desire a piece of it because it is beautiful and irresistible.

So right now…wherever you are be it at home, at your desk, at school, or wherever you find yourself at take a moment to worship and praise the very One who gave you life and provided the only way for you to escape a tortuous, “hellish”, and eternal death.

May the Lord be with you and may you my beloved brother or sister have a Jesus-filled day!
