My Explanation Of Why I’m Not Too Fond Of Our President Or Most Of Our Politicians For That Matter!

So many people especially many black people ask me why I am not fond of President Obama. It seems that in their blind-eyed loyalty him because they are black and he is black because of the whole “black-pride” thing which is un-Christ-like whether you like it or not or because they are a part of his political party they side with him time after time.

Simply put, I don’t care much for President Obama because he lies. That’s it folks! He lies and does it blatantly so I cannot with the Spirit that I received from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ upon my salvation trust him nor his leadership.

Now having said that I have the same contempt for most politicians whether Democrat or Republicans because most of them have perfected the art of lying for political means (or their own selfish ambitions) which is of the devil who as the Bible says is the “father of lies”.

In my personal life I am a generally forgiving person so I must forgive those that lie as Christ forgave me yet that does not mean that I have to trust that person again once they have lied to me especially those that are in leadership over me because to whom much is given much is required and God has clearly maintained in His word that though we are to “render unto Caesar what is his” we as believer’s in Christ are always to render our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls unto God.

Now you may follow a different God than I believe in that tells you just because a person is a black man and you are black that you must have undying loyalty to him or her, or you may have read another text different from the Holy Bible that I read that allows you to trust in and make excuses for people who lie to you (as you do this you’re enabling or leading them further into sin which is abhorrent to God BTW), you may be able to justify your personal racism towards others of another race because your race was not treated right in the past (two wrongs don’t make it right in God’s eyes…just saying!), and you may be willing to do all of these things just to support someone who lies to you (Dem, Repub, racially, or whatever) but I can’t, no, I won’t.

I often hear the excuse from both sides of the political aisle or from any side of any racial divide that it’s “just politics” or it’s “just they way that it is” when it comes to black folk, white folk, or “other” (how does that make “you” the “other” races feel?) but I am neither black nor white, dem or repub, rich nor poor, and I take no sides other than God’s side on any issue but I’m only able to do so at the level of God’s grace that I’ve figured out to utilize in my life so I am still prone to make mistakes but rest assured that I hear from God and I am not ashamed of His correction for that is the picture of what true, heart submission is in deference to the Father.

Truly, it matters not to me whether a politician or any person is white or black (or “other”). I am led by God’s Holy Spirit and God has given me discernment to look beyond, as He did with our brother King David, the outer pinning’s of a man or woman so that I can concentrate on what “fruit” sprouts from the seeds that he or she has sown.

I don’t use my own judgment…I look to God’s word and when a person’s life be it President Obama, President Bush (ya’ll overlook my major and many criticisms of his dastardly policies “don’t cha”!), the person on the street, or even the Pope who most recently advocated the point that there are many paths to God which is what often got the Israelites in trouble because God doesn’t tolerate that nonsense.

You get upset at me when President Obama said that his administration would be one of total transparency yet you say nothing when every time something “secret” is made public you make excuses and do not call him to task to explain for his words and when he does explain he gives some bloviated answer or just doesn’t answer the question and everyone seems to be okay with that.

Well….I’m a grown, Godly man and I expect “men” (or women just to be PC for a moment) to live up to their words and the whole “well that’s just what politicians do” argument has no place in a “true” Christian’s heart.

You mean to tell me that you are willing to stand before Christ and make excuses for knowing that you made excuses for someone’s lies be it President Obama, Speaker Boehner (for you Repubs reading this), the detestable John McCain, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton (and her detestable husband) or anyone else?

This is the reason that I dissolved my relationship with the Republican party though I postulate that I often vote in that vein because the Democrat party platform has become so anti-God/anti-Christ that I with our two-party system and reluctantly have to go with the party who’s beliefs are mostly aligned with my own but it is my prayer that “we the people” will stop fielding so many duplicitous, double-crossing, and lying candidates in the first place.

I too wanted to believe in President Obama and I was enamored with him at the Dem convention when the world first took notice of him. I must admit that I was awed by this man who looked like me was so articulate, so passionate, so enduring, and everything that has caused many Americans to fall in love with him yet I did not let his outside appearance fool me and I started digging into his past and found out that many of his mentors were communists, socialists, anarchists, environmental “whacko’s”, Stalinist’s, and Leninist’s.

These people have always vowed to put candidates into our government and have by my estimation they have a foothold in BOTH parties and in ALL levels of our government yet too many who support the repub party, the dem party, or the people who identify and align themselves politically according to their race continue to overlook these facts to our detriment as country.

God has never once told me to leave Him out of any area of my life so why should politics be the same. If President Obama had never attained the office of the presidency and I had found out the things that I found out about him and his affiliations I would still came up to the same conclusions that I have now about him.
I respect him as a man, as a father, as a husband, and I can even admire his ascension to the highest office in our nation but that does not mean that I’m going to eschew the training that I received in our armed forces that taught me how to identify communists, socialist’s, and anarchists as being too close or apart of those affiliations THAT HAVE AVOWED to destroy this country from within by turning it’s citizens against one another by inciting “wealth envy”, utilizing racial tensions, and by calculated dismantling of our Constitution as well as our religious freedoms which is why this country was founded in the first place.

I’m not going to go any further than I have now because it is not necessary but I assure you that those of you that are reading this now know that it is not that I just “don’t like” the President…again, I as a former defended of this country respect his office.

I don’t like people who try to play me stupid and use my “blackness” or sense of pride of having grown up in the richness of my culture/heritage as a “stepstool” to accomplish his goals to create a social utopia where government will do for me what only God and the brain that He gave me when He created me.

Lastly, I fully realize that some of my brothers and sisters will be offended by the things that I have said but it doesn’t make them any less true because it is not my standard that I’m saying them on but God’s and His Holy Word which took upon “flesh” and came down to earth to save us all.

I am a living, breathing testament of what God can do with a simpleton (anyone that does not know or listen to God) if that simpleton is willing to allow him/herself to first be saved by God and then eschew the world’s voice in favor of His and I’ll never deter from this path and I will always continue to speak the truth (in love always) as God puts it into my heart.

I pray for our president, his beautiful family, the judiciary, congress and all of the various institutional entities of our government but I don’t pray for them according to racial lines, party affiliation or any of that nonsense. I pray for God’s will to be done in their lives and for them to turn away from their evil, lying, and manipulative ways back towards God so that they may lead in a fashion that brings Him (not them or their race or party) Glory, Honor, Praise, Worship, and for them to be humble and submissive to His authority as they lead this great nation and defend our brothers and sisters in Israel the Holy Land.
