It’s In The “Book” (The Bible of Course)

Job 28:28 “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”

Psalm 111:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever.”

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Proverbs 3:7 “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”

If you’re looking for answers how to break a curse be it generational or otherwise…it’s in the “book”.

If you’re looking for answers how to deal with a disrespectful, disobedient, and disruptive child…it’s in the “book”.

If you’re looking for answers how to deal with suicidal thoughts, pornography, addictive behaviors, besetting sin, un-forgiveness and any other human condition…it’s in the “book”.

The book has all of the answers but the answers were not designed to stay in the “book”…the book was designed to be put inside of us and applied in every facet of our lives.

To get the “book” inside of us we must through prayer ask the Author of the “book” to instill every wisdom-filled page of it into our hearts and we achieve this by first asking Jesus to come into our hearts, repent of our sins, ask forgiveness for them, and ask Him to be our personal Savior.

When we do this we then gain access to not only the “book” but vast libraries of Godly wisdom that has the answer to every question that you are ever inclined to ask and even the ones that you haven’t thought of yet.

Questions like: “why do people die?”, “why do people kill?”, “why can’t I every seem to get it right?”, or “why did so and so have to die”. “Why, why, why Oh God….why?”

As we grow in our relationship with the Lord the “why” that was once so seemingly important begins to be replaced by the “Who” we are asking the question to.

When this begins to happen prosper perspective takes hold in our lives and we then realize that it was never the question but it was always the Answer that was important…and that is and always will be Jesus!

So let’s resolve today to get into the “book” and secure the wisdom that is Jesus that will bless us, correct us, convict us, prove us, and strengthen us in the admonition of the Lord like the “co-heir’s” to the throne that we are.

The “book” is a diary, a love letter if you will of the Father’s heart toward us but how can we ever understand what He has said about us, what He has done for us, and how much He loves us if the “book” remains unopened and collecting dust like all of the other worthless things in our lives.

He loves you today! He took the time to speak this word into my heart just for you not because of anything that I’ve done (I’m just a willing vessel) but because He smiles at the very mention of your name, the very thought of you, and His heart’s desire is to grow you into a mirror image of Himself so that you may be whole and your Spirit may be complete.

We praise you, we worship you, and most importantly we trust and love you Sweet Jesus and may you shine on us today and forever more my King!
