Stop Believing The Lies That The Enemy and Your Flesh Are Telling You

“2 Timothy 1:7 (Amp): 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

“Lamentations 3: 22-23 (Amp): 22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.”

“Galatians 3:13 (Amp): 13 Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified);”

As I navigate the “information superhighway…I see so many people posting on social media about how tired they are, how miserable they are, how desperate they are, or how much they wish things were different in their lives.

Here’s a thought…why not utilize your God-given ability to change your circumstance or at the very least strengthen you so that you may endure through it?

Instead of complaining…pray and when that doesn’t seem to be working…pray some more!

Instead of moping around…chew on the super-natural, vitamin that is God’s word that is found in the Bible…the same Bible that far too many of us allow to collect dust on our coffee tables.

Meditate on what He says about you and who you are instead of what this world, the enemy, and your flesh says about you and who you are.

For one to continually claim Christ as their Savior yet live in perpetual and continual lack of joy does not mean that they do not love God but it does show that they have yet to truly figure out how to accept God’s unmerited grace and mercy that He died a horrible, gruesome death on the cross for them  for (it’s easy…just accept it and simply trust the Holy Spirit to grow you as you walk with God).

Also, we that struggle with accepting this “gift” that Jesus gave us when he died for us MUST  allow  God to move them out of this spirit-hindering mindset via prayer, study, and by the guiding of His Holy Spirit for if they don’t they will always be just “saved” yet unable to abound in the perfect “peace” and “joy” that comes with being a child in the family of God.

God’s mercies are “new” each day so there is no need to hold your head down in shame if this is you today (I know that I have been guilty of this mindset a time or three).

Take hold of the life that Jesus lived, bled, and died to give you so that you may be the “free” creature that He has always intended for you to be.

He loves you today!

He has the biggest, most adoring, most proud, most Fatherly smile that a father could have on His Heavenly Face right now because He’s thinking of you and how much joy you bring to His heart because of His great and never-ending love for you!

Take all of your pain, all of your hurt, all of your sadness, all of your grief, all of your anger, all that you have and place it on the altar at His feet and allow Him to use it to transform you into a “new creature” with a “Christ-like” and “Christ-centered” mind that also comes with His perfect peace.

Praise Him through this and every storm that you face knowing that He has ordered rainbows for each of them for you to enjoy when they are over!

May God bless you dear brothers and sisters!

May you continue to pray for me as I continue to pray for you to grow deeper in Christ!
