White High School Kids Barred From Attending Discussion On Racial Issues

The submitted link from Allen West tells the story of how a discussion on “race” is a “black only” event at this high school and none of the white students were allowed to attend.

This is one of the big problems that I have with the black community. We are always protesting and marching about being “included” yet at every turn we separate ourselves and then justify it by bringing up the past. Dr. King and the other civil rights pioneers did NOT fight for and sometimes die to end segregation only for us to re-segregate ourselves.

How in the world can this problem of racism be solved if blacks only talk to blacks and whites only talk to whites? Makes no sense!

I have no problem when people congregate together because of familiarity but we’ve got to stop this black only stuff unless we are willing to NOT complain about white only stuff because that’s hypocritical.

Lastly, this whole problem will only be solved when the black man, the white man, and the “other” man drops those labels and becomes the Christ man…that is the only race that has life attached to it. We should continue to honor and respect the varying cultural differences….that is what makes this country so great and to deny that there is awesome uniqueness from the black community, the Hispanic community, the Italian, the Scottish, the Asian, etc. communities would be denying what makes this country great.

The contributions that ALL have made to this country brings merit to the notion that though sometimes flawed, this country is still great and envied by the rest of the world but what seems to have been purposely lost over the years is that this country is only great because of the God that made it great.
