Today’s Rant: Look At Yourself Before You Judge Others For Not “Wanting” You!

You either wait for guys (or gals) who are not into people who are not and/or are not willing to be in or get in shape or you do what is necessary to attract them if they are the type of people who you are interested in.

I get irritated with these ladies or guys who act as if people that they are interested in but are not interested in them because they do not fit their idea of whatever level of fitness or body-type that they desire are bad people.

Liking a certain body type does not make them a bad person…it’s who they are and unless they change (people do sometimes) maybe instead of you wanting them to change you yourself should look at getting off the couch and get moving to become a more fit you.

Stop coveting the affection of others and you won’t have this problem!

Covet Jesus’ affection and you will learn to love yourself for who you are and you will learn to do what is necessary to achieve any and everything that you desire in this lifetime according to God’s will and in being active with the talents and gifts that He has already given you.

Either get more fit or don’t…it’s up to you but stop making excuses as to why you are not where you want to be fit-wise and definitely stop pressuring others or stop making others feel guilty about their desire for a body-type that you are not willing to work to get.

I’ve found that EVEN when people go through a body-type transformation they either realize that the person that they were pursuing ended up not being right for them anyway or that in the process of changing themselves that their desires for the type of person that they were looking for changed as well.

There are “different strokes for different folks” and it’s only when we accept who we are or are willing to change the way we look at ourselves and stop worrying about what others think (unless it concerns the things of Christ Jesus) will the person be they fat, skinny, muscular, etc., will indeed be “free”.

I know very fit people who are some of the most shallow and miserable people on earth and I know some who are the most healthy, well-adjusted people one earth.

I also know the same for people of “weight” and/or a combination of both and it always boils down to how a person judges themselves according to some faux standard instead of fully realizing who they are in Christ Jesus where the real problems lies.

So today I encourage us all to pray to God to take these judgmental spirit’s off of our lives first and then make real assessments of what our desires are as we pray and be willing to put the work in TO change or be willing to accept that at this current time we are not willing to change but be also willing to accept the consequences of the “non-change” attitude.
