Feed on this one folks…far too many people in the “Body” trying to be “popular” whether it be to “church folk”, politicians, the people of their race, their community, or even their family.

Jesus commands us to speak words because they are truth NOT to speak them nor water HIS Word down so that we can be or remain popular.

Lastly, know that this applies when someone is racist towards you too people!!
God has so placed on my heart that many who call Him LORD will not be recognized because they can’t or won’t forgive due to the racism that they have encountered or witnessed in their lives.

They think that they are right in their continued unforgiveness but I assure you that they are wrong…dead wrong (eternally at that) so if this is you today or if you are suffering from ANY form of unforgiveness I beg of you to lay in at the feet of Jesus today and ask Him to deal with it and to grow you past it.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:26-36‬ ‭(MSG‬): “There’s trouble ahead when you live only for the approval of others, saying what flatters them, doing what indulges them. Popularity contests are not truth contests—look how many scoundrel preachers were approved by your ancestors! Your task is to be true, not popular. “To you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live generously.

“Here is a simple rule of thumb for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you; then grab the initiative and do it for them! If you only love the lovable, do you expect a pat on the back? Run-of-the-mill sinners do that. If you only help those who help you, do you expect a medal? Garden-variety sinners do that. If you only give for what you hope to get out of it, do you think that’s charity? The stingiest of pawnbrokers does that.

“I tell you, love your enemies. Help and give without expecting a return. You’ll never—I promise—regret it. Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we’re at our worst. Our Father is kind; you be kind.” (Scripture ends)

(The following clip shows what true forgiveness looks like so i again remind below in a comment that i posted on social media what God spoke into my heart about forgiveness:

Clip:  https://www.facebook.com/christianstrongbrand/videos/1844059032538124/

I posted some time ago what God spoke into my heart upon my salvation about what to say to the black community about forgiveness.

I said that the black community often says with their lips that we have “forgiven” YET our actions/words/deeds prove otherwise.

YES have been and are STILL being done wrong on many fronts BUT IF you are one with Christ YOU MUST TRULY forgive just as this brother did here EVEN if the other person doesn’t deserve it because you certainly didn’t deserve Christ’s forgiveness nor His Holy blood that was poured out for you as He died a horrible, gruesome death on the Cross for YOU AND THE PERSON OR PERSONS WHO “DID” YOU WRONG.

I can hear some black folk who claim to be Christian now as they watch this…”man he’s crazy, I wouldn’t have forgiven him after I went through all of that!” OR “I know what the Bible says but I couldn’t forgive that!” OR “this is what white people do so I can’t forgive nothing that they have done to me or my people!”

Well I used to have that same attitude UNTIL that day that God dealt with me about forgiveness and racism. He was curt with me that IF I could not find it in my heart to TRULY forgive that I WOULD NOT BE FORGIVEN NOR COULD I ENTRR HIS KINGDOM!”

Let that sink in Christians who are black…let that sink in.

You claim Christ but at every turn you show zero forgiveness towards the “white race” many whose ancestors did your people wrong and some who have done you wrong but also some who have never done you wrong and you expect that God is not going to be true to His Word when history proves otherwise that you will be Not forgiven if you don’t forgive?

I am baffled at the excuses, the lack of Godly wisdom that is overrided by “black pride”, and historical hurt that people who claim Christ can allow themselves to be so tricked by satan that they live lives with the same hate that they claim they hate and return “hate for hate” when the Lord that they claim as Lord tells them not to YET they behave as if it were a suggestion and not a command.

Not only did God instruct me to get rid of my black pride (“you cannot serve me as I intend you to with it”…his words) BUT I also had to repent of my prior unforgiving heart, attitudes, and actions (yes I would’ve been one of the current day race baiting rioters) toward people that i considered my enemy.

Once I did that in obedience JESUS opened my eyes to who the real enemy was and if ANYONE reading this has that same attitude that I spoke of a paragraph or two ago YOU ARE STILL BLIND and need to repent and ask forgiveness so that the proverbial scales can fall from your eyes so that you may be free from the unforgiveness that (hear me now) threatens your salvation.

This is why almost every time that I am blessed to preach to our youth I touch on “race” and “forgiveness” because we don’t need to raise another generation to have unforgiving hearts like the adults who bring them to and teach them in church to be “unforgivers” and therefore not passing on the truth that GOD will NOT forgive them if they don’t forgive others as Christ has forgiven them which is COMPLETELY and without “strings attached”.

I praise BOTH of these brothers because they truly understand what Jesus meant when He commanded us to forgive and I pray for this understanding to come to all of Jesus’s “followers”.

The world can justify your sin, our educational system can justify your sin, your family can justify your sin, our government/politicians can justify your sin, the media can justify your sin…heck, the church that you attend can even justify your sin BUT rest assured that when you and I stand before Jesus that HE will NOT justify sin.

We can sit down here on earth and argue the legalities of our justice systems as to whether or not which/what sin should or should not be “legal” or “God-approved” all that we want but in the end the ONLY court whose opinion will matter is Jesus’ and His Word has already determined that SIN IS SIN and “the wages of sin is death.”

So I tell you now that YOU can debate all that YOU want on whether or not sin is sin or not but as far as I’m concerned the issue is already settled because HE settled it when HE took on flesh and told us what sin is she HE walked among us.

EVERY TIME HE healed or absolved someone of their sins He repeatedly would say “go and sin no more” which kills the argument that we can simply sin at will.

God showed me long ago that there will be many that call Him Lord that He will not recognize and therefore will be damned for eternity and I immediately wanted to know what I needed to do to ensure that I was NOT in THAT number.

His Word is clear “REPENT”, ask for forgiveness, ask Him to be Lord of our lives, and live in obedience to His Word and commands (a part that we seem to often willingly and conveniently forget).

He knows that there are times that the sin in you will become so strong that you stumble and He has already provided provision for those times with His Blood and death on the Cross but many choose to abuse that by falsely thinking that they can do what they want…you know in your heart that is NOT true so ignore the truth at your own peril.

There many who are walking around today thinking that their place in Heaven is secure yet as I read the Holy scriptures I see that many are in peril.

The Bible CLEARLY says “forgive lest he be forgiven” YET in the very community that I come from I witness the unforgiveness that is being passed down generationally due to the horrible slavery that we as a people endured.

I often wonder why God points this out to me and has me speak on it so often and makes me stay on that road when there are so many injustice found in ALL racial situations but He plainly told me that I needed to “do as HE instructs me…say what HE has for me to say…and do what He tells me to do” and to not concern myself about what he has assigned or not assigned concerning those issues…so in obedience I’ve said what I’ve said and as I TRULY close this pen I will take no debate on it as to whether I should speak on what other races should or should not do in regards to this issue.

He is telling me to tell my people to “forgive lest he be forgiven” and that is what i will do…it is up to whomever to argue whatever they want to argue about but I won’t join in it as the Lord has spoken and I in obedience have “forgiven” and will continue to “forgive”…just as HE forgave me.
