This video (in the link provided at the end of this paragraph) where this young man literally gave the shirt off of his back should provide proper perspective for all of you (meaning me too) who are so uptight about this election, the racial tensions of late, the threat of war, etc. https://youtu.be/op_lQ4QNoMo

It’s okay to prepare and work on these things (they are important) but while remaining aware of them, praying about them, or even doing your “worldly” best to do something about them always remember what our FIRST mission is….simply to love people and preach Christ Jesus to them mostly by showing them His love THROUGH our actions as we allow Him to work through us.

I am guilty at times for focusing so hard on the “issues of the day” (nothing wrong with this btw) and so are many of you but God is not sitting in Heaven mad at us about is focusing on these things but we MUST also not be so blinded by them that we lose sight of our most important mission and miss opportunities to help people and improve their “human condition” so thatJesus and His perfect heart can be seen by them and the rest of the world also.

Help someone today.  Be a light for Jesus so that people may be drawn to Him through you. Pray for those that have offended you and that YOU have offended (even in todays horrible political and racial climate).

Lastly, remember to love those that hate and despise you just as you love those that you love dearly for Jesus loves you that way when you were a mere sinner and on death’s highway instead of the current road that you are on towards Heaven and our Father God through Jesus Christ.

I love you and the Master does too for we are one and you are one with us dear brother and sister!

Be blessed and have a Jesus-filled day!!!
