If you are black how are you going to minister to the white person who God puts before you if you are so caught up with dealing with and seeing racism instead of seeing it via the prism of the Holy Spirit that it is NOT a white person but simply an evil person whose skin color is white who needs the blood of Jesus in their life?

The reverse is true also if you are white and you get so offended by “black first” groups that you start to feel that you cannot minister to a person of color because they have called you a racist when you know that you are not when you should be viewing them through the prism of the Holy Spirit as someone who has been so hurt by racism that it is blinding them to now return hate to you which is also a trick of the enemy.

You see the TRUE problem is NOT racism but the evil that perpetrates it…the devil!

He (the devil) loves how we make our personal points and leave God’s Word out of the equation because he knows that it fosters hopelessness and in the end anger to the point so that we “choose sides” INSTEAD of choosing Jesus.

THIS is what God has shown me that is happening today and what He is most sad and furious at (He just impressed this to me now as I sit in my car writing this as HE instructed me to) is that His people have become some of the worst actors in these dramas behaving like little devils instead of the children of God that they were made to be.

Even worse is when “leaders” in HIS church rant and rave sans His Word returning hate for hate instead of love for hate and all in His Name no less when He has authorized no such thing and never would.

Ensure that you are not attaching Jesus’ Holy Name to your earthly priority of YOUR brand of justice that is aligned with this worldview.

Further, ensure that you leave His Holy Name out of your “returning hate for hate” diatribes that you claim comes with His Name simply because you serve Him.

Read your Bible…even earthly, secular Kings who did not know Him “served” His will so servants are a dime a dozen…it’s obedience that He is after and when we align ourselves to these various movements simply because they “seem” righteous does NOT mean that He is with us because not everything that looks “good” is not “God”.

Stand up against evil yet ensure that when you do you allow yourself to do so being led by the Holy Spirit and definitely do not act like the devil and accuse an entire race for what some in that race have done as each man’s (woman and child also) sins are credited to them only and not someone else.

A few scriptures to let sink in:
Ezekiel 18: 20: “The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

Jeremiah 31:30: “Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes–their own teeth will be set on edge.”

Galatians 6:4-5 “But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load.”

Romans 14:10, 12 “For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.”

James 4:17 “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

Romans 1:21-22 “because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools.”

Lastly, let’s all remember what Galatians 3:28 teaches us: 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
So we are either with Jesus all the way or with the race that has been assigned to us by man.

I don’t know about you but “as for me and my house we will serve the Lord”!

If the first words out of our (the Christian’s) mouth when an incident like the one in Charlotte or any other hate-filled event happens is NOT prayer then we are part of the problem and not a part of the eternal solution.

Everyone has words to say when an event happens but are those words fruitful?

Do they hinder or help? And most importantly are they words that have been crafted and let out of your mouth guided by God’s Holy Spirit?

Let me give you a hint…if your words return hate for hate, if they tear down and don’t build up, or if they are words that stoke fear or anxiety instead of hope it’s a good bet that they are not words that are led by His Spirit EVEN if they are spoken from a pulpit or by a religious leader.

One of the things that God showed me early on in my walk withChrist was how the devil cunningly used the plight of the black man to turn him away from Jesus through the harshness of our being brought here by force, exploited, used/abused (financially, sexually, and spiritually) via the slave trade (God was dealing with me about my in-Godly and kearned “black pride”.

The devil knows that one of the easiest ways to get someone to follow a false truth is to attack them in a trial and then present them with an alternate or false truth and for the black man in this country that false truth has been Islam and other predominantly black religious practices such as “voo doo” and other dark, mystical witchcraft practices that have tricked people into being led away from the truth that is relationship with Jesus Christ.

The devil first exploited the mind of the black man (that continues to be filled with black pride) away from Christ through a spirit of (understandable…yet still wrong) unforgiveness for how horrible the plight was that was forced on us by the evil white (and blacks lest we forget) people involved in the slave trade and then the devil introduced leaders (along with the Godly leaders) via the Civil Rights movement to fill the need that black people had  to lead them in their struggles.

On one hand we had leaders who were human (thus sometime sinful yet repentant in their behavior) yet were men of God preaching peace through the tenants of Christ-like behavior through their persecution and then we have the devil-introduced false doctrinal leaders that many black folk identified with since they were African-based yet still unGodly such as Islam through the Nation of Islam (which I almost joined BTW) and other occultist practices.

This is nothing new and is a tried and true tactic that the devil used against Africans that were introduced to the Gospel BEFORE African slaves were even brought to America.

Blacks in this country ESPECIALLY in the historical black church due to the black mans seemingly rightful hatred of the white man for what they did to us (understandable yet STILL unGodly…pride stops forgiveness) have always allowed the intermingling of other religious practices into the church.

This, as God has taught me was his intent of the devil as he knew that many of the “saved” would (in their constant state of unforgiveness)  stray away from the Holy Spirit, forgiveness thus the real truth for doctrines seemingly righteous yet filled with unforgiveness and excuses for hating those who persecuted them…which is the GODLY way of living that is found in the BIBLE (due to a “lack of knowledge “).

As I’ve said before, when God first started teaching me on this I thought that i was never going to be able to live this way of “forgiveness” towards those who commuted the many wrongs against black people in this country because all of my life I had been taught “black Pride” and it was so entrenched in me that I didn’t know if even God could change me (praise God for His unmerited mercy and Grace).

That was until He posted something terrifying in my Spirit and that was “son, do you want to live for eternity with your black pride or with Me in Heaven?…you choose…you can’t have it both ways…you are either black or Christ.”

I, as you can prayerfully see CHOSE (and always will choose) Christ.

The devil has used various routes to influence the black person to God-like yet unGodky faiths.  He has used hip-hop music, political leaders, and even the unGodky pastors/leaders in our churches to trick black folk (he has done this with white folk who aligned with the ku klux klan and other white supremacist groups also) that we have a connection with Islam and other practices so cunningly that we often “roll” with it as righteousness when it is most certainly not (again, this way of thinking is being taught from the pulpit no less!!! These “pastors/leaders WILL be held accountable).

Lastly, this does not mean that the Christian hates the Muslim yet in love  it is still our duty to point out the evil in “men” (inference “women” also) no matter the religion and preach the gospel of Christ to them (again in love) through either spoken word or by (the best way) living a life that reveals the relationship with Christ to its fullest before them and the world every moment of every day…that is how we (unlike other religions who resort to violence and other means) “convert” or even better…bring people into their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ so that they may also be saved.

I will postulate that many Christians don’t do this but often tarnish Christianity by returning hate when having hate directed at them instead of practicing the returning of live when confronted with hate.

However, for the black man or any “man” to think that God approved of intermingling with and worshipping other “gods” to “keep the peace” or to be an acceptable Christian by society is utter foolishness as this way of living will NEVER bear “fruit” since it is a devil-induced ideology that has many in the faith unwittingly (some wittingly) dangling with their feet over hell fire.

So as I have said many times before and as it was stated by our brother Joshua taught us in the Bible in Joshua 24:15:  “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD”.

(My add…and NOT my “black pride”, “white pride”, “Hispanic-pride”, “Asian-pride”, or whatever “pride” you find yourself living in today).

Your brother in Christ Jesus!

Roland Martin drags Stacey Dash: ‘Don’t make an a** outta yourself’

I posted this as a comment to a social media post in response to the linked article)

Yet the black folk that disagree with her call her derogatory names for her simply making a point that she believes in…many of them Christians no less.

I don’t totally agree with what she said but I don’t totally disagree either. Black folk segregate themselves all of the time and exclude others while doing so.

We have our own award shows that whites and others are not a part of and that is hypocritical.

I remember me and others who were too “black” being made fun of and my cousins who were “light-skinned” being made fun of for not being black enough.

I’ve had family members and other black folk disparage my wife (a mighty woman of God if there ever was one) simply because she is white even though she has never done anything to harm a black person or anyone else…does that sound fair?

Black folk talk about white folks and other races like dogs behind their backs and then will smile in their face and then hypocritically complain when someone white does the same…this is of the devil and not of God.

Do you honestly think that Jesus approves of the “black card” that is always being threatened to be pulled from any black person who doesn’t toe the line that black society has deemed as true blackness? Your black card WILL NOT gain you entrance into Heaven and neither will your black pride and in fact the sheer notion of that mess is anti-th ethical to a life of relationship with Jesus Christ. Example, did He berate His enemies or did He forgive them (us)?

Oh…you don’t have to like that but it is the truth nonetheless.

Besides…anyone black, white, or otherwise who claims Christ should have thrown away they’re “card” upon giving their life to Jesus.

As a follower of Christ we should have no card but a Jesus Card and that trumps a black card, white card, Hispanic card, etc.

When God dealt with me about my own racism towards White’s I was upset so I asked Him “what about what they did to us?” And His response really irritated me at the time and it was “So. I forgave you”. (Paraphrasing the rest). You forgive them and quit getting caught up in trying to make them pay for their wrongs….that’s my job. Now, pray for any racist that you encounter instead of trying to get back at them and understand that that is the devils way of doing things and not mine. He uses people to use history to bring them to a state of unforgiveness so that everytime something happens they get caught up into reacting to it as the world does instead of reacting to it as my word says.

Has the way Mr. Martin treated Mrs. Dash more resembling of how the devil treats someone or like Christ teaches us?

I don’t say these things lightly and God knows that I myself still struggle in this area at time when I see injustice done yet God is unrelenting with me on the subject. He often reminds me that I’m either on His side or I’m on my “black side” with my black pride. One way leads to life and the other is a perilous road to death.

Ron “Big Black” (but that ain’t my identity) Garrett

In this clip (linked here: https://www.facebook.com/starnewscentral/videos/1637504439857846/) from one of my all time favorite television shows (The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air) “black racism” (really no such thing…racism is racism…period!) is on high display for all to see. (You know the “racism” that I often speak about but others in the black community get upset with me for even acknowledging it’s existence).

A prime example is the way black conservatives like Dr. Ben Carson are treated.  Before he spoke out on his beliefs Dr. Carson was highly respected in the black community and was a beacon of hope of what our children our adults, and our community could be….until he stopped toeing the traditional lines of “blackness”.

I am treated this way all of the time (no worries…I don’t care what people think anyway) and a lot of black folk get mad at me when I expose this type of racism  that is openly practiced in the black community (our “class-ism” is even worse…get around some “rich” black folk and you’ll see what I’m talking about or don’t wear the right “shoes” or clothes and you’re talked about worse than a flea-bitten mutt) .

They get mad because I call many people in our community hypocrites because they decry racism at every turn YET the black community has a long, dreadful history of “in-race” racism.

I remember growing up that my sister and EVERY other black person who spoke well was termed with “oh, you trying to be white”, or “oh, you think you too good to be black” simply because they were able to articulate well in English (I postulate that I myself have been very guilty of this due to my ignorance…sorry Sis).

We are also judged at varying levels of disdain or adoration according to our “shade of blackness” and depending on what is “in” this year or not there is a certain level of racism that occurs to individuals that do not meet whatever “today’s” standard of “blackness is.

I am accused of not being “black” because I don’t vote straight Democrat (they are so used to our vote that they abuse it…and we let them), because I don’t side with an issue because it’s the “black” thing to do (even if the issue is wrong according to my beliefs), and/or because I choose to make up my own mind on issues instead of (like a robot) following the traditional “black” line.

It’s funny, many of the “black” people who quite often castigate me for “selling-out” only give token service to helping out the black community while I (as a servant of Jesus) am out there in those streets day in day out being a father to the fatherless as God has commanded me to be.

I mentor because I always desired to be mentored.  I cry and grieve with the people who I walk with because I always wanted someone to grieve and walk with me when the ills of society hurt me (it’s why I love serving my “hood”).

A lot of the black people think being black is giving money to or supporting organizations like the NAACP and/or others (many of their leaders have gotten “rich” off of our community but do little to nothing but give mouth service to make it better) but the real support comes in tutoring kids, mentoring kids and even whole families, getting people the help that they need in a personal way, actually showing up in the hood (not just to “floss” what you got) and actually doing something more than once or twice a year (normally during Black History Month). etc.

When I gave my life to Christ He showed me the folly and hypocrisy that exists within EVERY race that idolizes their “color/culture/heritage” to the point that it rivals or even surpasses His word/will.

This is why He demanded that I hand in my “black card” that had so many strings attached to it and trade it in for His “Jesus card” that has no strings attached to it and has a rewards program that grants me peace, unconditional love for ALL others, eternal life with Him, and the ability to allow Him to use me to open others eyes so that they can receive His “card” and get those benefits for themselves.

It’s easy yet hypocritical to call out racism and other “wrongs” when it’s white on black yet not do the same when the racism and other “wrongs” are being committed towards blacks from other blacks in our own, darn community.

This will end ONLY when we stop idolizing our “blackness” and trading in our “black card” for the “Master’s card”.

Now THAT’S “real talk” for yo….well you know.

Ron “Big Black” Garrett

It concerns me that anyone kills anyone yet I continue to be deluged with more concern when someone white or a police officer (especially if he is white) kills a black person even though it’s a verifiable fact that black folk are being killed at almost an 87% clip by other black folk than by a white person.

I keep on telling all of these black folk that continually make a bigger deal out of things when it concerns blacks against whites or whites against black or “black or white vs other” that they are idolize for their race above God.

This is NOT me saying this but it is what God spoke into my heart when He dealt with me over it which is why I don’t look at things as black or white anymore but evil vs good.

No one has to believe me yet if you claim Christ His word verifies what He has spoken into my heart in Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Now, as a “Christian”, you MUST question yourself as to whether you are living by or are willing to change your ways to meet this Biblical “truth” given to us through the prophet or not…I choose God…as for you and your house…whatever floats your boat yet I pray that you relent to God’s word on this.

In the end does it really matter who killed who? Is the families loss more simply because of the race involved? More importantly, does,God love the killer less than He loves the killed depending on the race of either one?

The “Christian” (a lot of people call themselves this without understanding the TRUE meaning of what it is to be one) who is more concerned about his or her race and values his or her race’s plight over any other race is not being a representative of Christ but is representing the attitude of the father of this world…the devil.

I know, it goes against what we as black folk (and white, and “other folk too) have been taught but it is truth nonetheless so I must speak it.

When a black kills a white its evil and black folk lose their mind because it is evil yet when a black person kills a white person they are so not similarly lose their mind even though it is of the same evil.

When Christ comes back does any right thinking Christian honestly believe that Jesus is going to judge the white that killed a black harsher than the black who killed a black?

I can assure you that He will judge them just the same and since this is a known truth I don’t see how ANY Christian of any skin color can continue to do the opposite of what the One whom they claim as “Father” would do.

So you can save your comments because God has spoken on this one to me and what no one says but Him matter to me on this one.

Martin Luther King Jr. has the same line of thinking as Christ did on this issue and is rightly hailed as a hero because of it yet the black community has eschewed this Christ-centered and RIGHT way of thinking for a revenge and “color-first” mentality which we claim to be fighting when we protest racism but in actuality are practicing when we do as the “racist” does…its in-Christ-like…period!

This is a DIATRIBE (by Steven A. Smith of ESPN) that EVERYONE needs to listen to (courtesy ESPN “First Take”)  (https://www.facebook.com/james.frazier.399/videos/757867674246941/?pnref=story).

I have been preaching this message to the kids that I work with in ministry, with their parents in the “hood, with my spiritual sons/daughters, with my own children, etc. for as long as I can remember.

No one owes you ANYTHING!!!!

This generation (led by many in MY generation) has proliferated the idea that people looking for a job, or a loan, or “whatever” they need can do so with the attitude of “I gotta do ME!” without any consideration for what the person or entity ‘s wishes/desires that they are trying to receive what they need from is ridiculous and needs to quit being taught.

Pull your pants up, don’t wear “club clothes”, cover up your tattoos, groom your flipping hair, be prepared mentally/physically, and do all that you can do educational-wise to be prepared for the position that you are interested in obtaining or for the funds that you are seeking.

Common sense yet many people today walk into “you name it” place as if they run the joint and can tell the boss what to do and if the boss runs them off for that foolishness they then cry racism, sexism, and discrimination.

I had this happen at a new job one time. Normally when someone is new they try to NOT make waves with everyone (the new co-workers) but I couldn’t care less as long as I’m doing the right thing and living by God’s standards with respect to my employer.

There was this young lady that worked there who every time I walked by her desk was in the phone, was dressed like she interviewing for a model’s position at Victoria’s Secret (yet didn’t have the tools to do that job either but still wore the clothes anyway much to EVERYONE’S dismay), and was always late coming in, late coming back from her breaks, took extra breaks to smoke, took double the lunch break that everyone else took, etc.

One day our boss who was one of pf the nicest people I’ve ever met mentioned to her that she needed to REDUCE (he didn’t even tell her to completely STOP it) all of theses activities because it wasn’t fair to the other employees.

After he left she then went around to all,of the black folk and got them in a group and started the whole victim mentality thing because the boss was a white, Jewish man.

What was worse for me is that many of the people who,we’re now involved in wrongly shredding this man’s character were “proud Christian’s” and let you know every minute of the day that they were.

So I, being who I am approaches the group who,we’re now plotting to file a complaint against our employer who had been guilty of doing nothing but his job and politely said “what are y’all doing co-signing what this lady is doing for? Number one she is lying about what happened because I heard it. Number two you should know better because our boss had stood up,for each of you and does the best he can to support and fight for you and IS NOT RACIST! As Christians we must NEVER sign on with evil and these lies and what she is doing is evil. What you ALL are doing right now is why when true cases of racism come up that many people view them with skepticism.

Lastly, (pointing at the lady), every one of you know that what the boss has told this lady is true..I know not only because I’ve seen it with my owns eyes because YOU complain about it everyday YET you are sitting here allowing this woman and satan to control you into doing something that is wrong that could permanently harm this man.”

By the time I had finished speaking the throng of people had whittled down to just two or three and the woman and they left me and her standing alone.

Coming from a purely “black perspective” (since I had not yet determined if she was a Christian or not) I politely told her that what she was doing is exactly what retards ANY progress that respectable black folk are trying to make and THAT was the reason that I called her out for it.

She is since working somewhere else for about a third less than what she’s making now and our boss who has since passed on is STILL a much revered man and I can assure you that the people who allowed themselves to get caught up in that nonsense are probably glad that I stepped in because the would have regrets for besmirching a good mans name.

P.s.- every time I hear Steven A. speak I think of my Cuz Vandous E Stripling when he is on one of his rants, LOLLL
