I want EVERYONE that disagrees with the whole “kneeling” to protest the “flag” because of its history of racism and oppression to “like and share” this video (I normally don’t ask this but it’s important to get this message out) because IF we’re gonna kneel or protest stuff and/or tear down “monuments” or hold the flag and others accountable for racist history then why not kneel or protest it ALL…EVERYTHING that has a racist past? Again, please like and share to as many people as possible because I’m tired of people trying to tell me what or how to think.

I don’t see people protesting the racial history of their favorite sports teams when ALL of them historically oppressed people of color and /or women.

So IF we are gonna do this “go back in history and protest everything that is or was racist” then let’s start buy NOT watching sports anymore because EVERY sport in this country at one time or another oppressed people like me YET because they are so beloved people give them a pass.

If we are removing monuments then why not sports franchises? Why not ban football teams, basketball franchises, or kneel at the games to protest sports racial history? Why does Kapernick want to play in a league that has a history of oppressing blacks and why do so many of you support him for wanting to play in a league that for a long time wouldn’t allow blacks to play in it.

IF we’re gonna protest then let’s protest ALL things with a racist past to include the auto, fashion, diamond, and most other industries that make the products that we enjoy today because ALL of them in one way or the other were built on or by oppressed peoples..many of color.

Give up you clothes that were made by oppressed women and children AND STILL ARE to include your “bags and shoes” ladies. Protest by not buying that stud IF you really believe in what you say you do.

But you won’t and the answer is because you LOVE it…I feel the same way about our country and our flag despite our history of racism and i ALWAYS learn something new history wise when I visit a union or confederate memorial which is why I oppose them being destroyed. So if we gonna protest then let’s protest it all…if not then be quiet with your hypocrite self.

No doubt in my mind that she was bullied and made fun of because of her hair. Black folk always annoy me worrying so much about what some random white racist will say when the words spoken by our own which we hear the MOST of daily are quite often more harmful.

This doesn’t lessen racist dialogue towards a black person but it doesn’t lessen the impact of harmful words spoken to “us” ESPECIALLY when we are kids.

I love how we are supposed to be about everything “black” and are supposed to embrace our African heritage BUT let a young brother or sister go “natural” and watch the hateful words fly….”you need to do something with them naps! Why they let him/her go around with their hair like that?” Etc,.

As we say with the “racist” who uses racial slurs “it’s learned at home”…so are the hurtful words that we use towards each other within our (and insert your own race and cultural stuff) and it simply needs to stop.

I recall as a child when I started going to my neighborhood church we were poor and really couldn’t afford many nice clothes and grown folk and children alike would AT CHURCH make fun of my nappy hair (couldn’t always afford a haircut on a regular schedule) and clothes INSTEAD of trying to help me attain something that THEY deemed appropriate (and ANYONE that has went to a traditionally “black” church knows what I’m talking about).

This is why I love my church that I serve at now. We welcome ALL as Jesus does and on any given Sunday you May have someone in a three piece suit sitting next to a person in clothes that are tattered worshipping the same God often in tears.

WE NEED TO DO BETTER AND IT STARTS AT HOME!!!

The answer to all atheists

I know that the message in this video is very true.

I even sat in church as a kid yet I still didn’t believe in or have a relationship with God nor did I truly allow Him to lead me which is IMHO the biggest issue on this earth today and sadly even within the church

Even when the pews are full there is a portion of the people who “know” God (even satan and his demons know God and Who He is) yet only a much much smaller person who KNOWS God and stands in pure, friendship, relationship with Jesus Christ and having been a part of that larger number before I can attest to that fact.

You see…I was 38 years old when I stood before Jesus and truly recognized Him as Lord and Savior of my life and made the decision to turn myself, my life, my family, my goals, my aspirations, my hopes, my dreams, my sorrow, my anger…my entire being over to Him for HIM to do with me as HE sees fit.

I’ve taken the proverbial and prophetic criticisms from friends, family members, and sadly “brothers and sisters” that attend church because I dare speak what He tells me to speak, do what He tells me to do, and be who He created me to be.

Luke 12:51-53 (ESV):  “Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” (Scripture ends)

He said that it wouldn’t be easy…yet I have done no greater thing in my life than to stop simply sitting in the “pew” listening to sermons yet still be in the world bereft of Jesus’ power but to CHOOSE to throw down everything that I am at Jesus’ feet submitting myself to His eternal rule and thusly receive His power that I now operate openly in daily since I am now His son and I have never regretted it.

Well…except for that one day just after my salvation when I realized that God was convicting me of wasting my time, talents, gifts, and His love that He wanted me to extend to others on partying, worldly pursuits, etc.  

I said “how am I supposed to “live”? This is all I know!!” I can 😂 now as I realize that all of that “stuff” was a pretend life and that I didn’t truly start living until I became HIS!! 😂

“Pain”

As we say in the military “embrace the suck! Pain is only temporary AND in the end you will become stronger if you do”.

Once we begin to figure out that most things whether they be good, bad, joyful, or painful in this short time that God blesses us with on this earth is temporary we then begin to learn to deal with pain in a new and more fruit bearing way.

We begin to see that though though we find ourselves in the deep, painful end of the proverbial ocean that eventually if we don’t give up, trust in Jesus, and simply wade in His providence through the pain to the other side that eventually our toes will touch the sand of truth again as we then walk back onto a beach filled with joy and the love of God.

Is this you today? Are you in pain be it physical, mental (to include anxiety, depression, doubt etc. know that HE made me go back and add this so I know it’s speaking to someone right now who is reading this), spiritual, or otherwise? Know that before I hit “share” to post this that I prayed for you to the Father since it was HE that brought you to my mind and awareness this morning as I read his word and prayed. Being transparent I actually got this meme some time ago and meant to post it in reference to “weightlifting” or exercise pain BUT GOD had other plans for it.

YES, this meme can still be used for that purpose but I believe that HE meant it today for those who are in “pain” in a variety of ways beyond that.

So this one is for you dear friends (as well as myself) and I pray that the very knowledge that God chose to speak to me and use this meme to speak love into the painful situation that you find yourself in today AND through such an imperfect vessel as myself (still blown away that He chooses to use me like this) shows how much He loves you!!!

So receive that prayer, open your mouth and declare to the world how great He is, praise Him, worship Him, and thank Him for the victory and the strength that you are receiving from this temporary bout of pain.

I love You yet more importantly Jesus love YOU!!

Trust in the Lord and as you do you will learn to trust yourself

(Isaiah 26:3) “You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.”

Trust in the Lord to lead you by His Spirit as you take a chance in trusting yourself to grind through the first days of your dietary change to become a healthier, happier, and more fit you.

I know that you are scared, I know that you have questions, and I know that you think that you cannot “do it” but I’m here to tell you that you can and you will…all that you have to do is show up, take one day at time, and set realistic goals that you work towards with patience.

YOU’VE GOT THIS!!!

Happy Mother’s Day

He gave you to me though I don’t deserve you.

You love me wholeheartedly and I often wonder how.

You make the day seem brighter and though night is supposedly a time of darkness your love for me shines right through it into my heart.

I know Jesus loves me because He blessed me with you dear wife.

I praise Him during any storm that I must endure not only for His presence with me but because He put you right there with me as my “ride or die” as I walk through it and again I’m blessed when I walk with you through yours.

I love you and honor you on this Mother’s Day “that the Lord has made”!

So for the many times that I have not appreciated you enough, not held you enough, not forgiven you quickly, not asked for forgiveness quickly, not treated you like the Queen that you are in Christ Jesus I ask for forgiveness and thank you for always giving me an opportunity to make it right.

Proverbs 31 (verses 10-31) reads:

“10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11  Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12  She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13  She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.

These scriptures embody what/who you are and what you mean to me so again I honor you today.

“The California (Democrat) Agenda”

The problem here (referring to the Democrat agenda for California in the attached link) for the “Christian” who continues to vote Democrat “no matter what” is that this mindset represents the national leadership of the Democrat party and they keep it under wraps because they know that if their voters knew the full extent of what they truly believe then they would be in trouble so they put on a “we are a friend to the Christian” poker face in public nationally while behind the scenes they do everything that they can to weaken Christianity.

What I’m saying here refers ONLY to what I a former Democrat know from personal experience and does NOT infer any allegiance with or emboldens a response that I view the Republican leadership much better.

What I’m saying is that this leadership to include President Obama whether you like it or not approves of this agenda to silence Christianity or any form of conservatism while pretending to be tolerant when the unbiased and sans partisan individual that is not blinded by party loyalty can plainly see the truth.

California has ALWAYS been the “bell cow” leading the Democrat party’s agenda and since that has not changed I fail to see how any Christian that confers allegiance to this part cannot understand that they are in affect when casting a ballot for this agenda that they are casting a ballot for their actual belief to practice their faith as guaranteed by the Constitution and it is THEM that are doing it to themselves because they blindly trust this leadership because they SAY that they are for minorities, etc.,

Again, before I get any comments that I have to delete inferring that I’m pushing a Republican agenda know that as a Christian Independent Constitutionalist that I view BOTH parties with great disdain as they BOTH have strayed far from living up to their sworn oath to “support and defend the Constitution” of this country.

Most of what I see coming from both parties these days are designed to work around the tenants of the Constitution so that these mostly career politicians can accrue and hold onto power while keeping the “masses” who are trying to live daily, ordinary lives unware of their wealth-grabbing, in-Constitutional ways.

I digress….

Lastly, it has been the Democrat agenda to remove any and everything “God” from any and everything that we do one little step at a time and again…I am what I refer to as an “ole skool Democrat” and though I wasn’t a Christian back then I was always baffled that so many of the policies that were presented by the National Party headquarters was so “anti-Christian” in nature and it was ONLY about 20 years later after I gave my life to Christ that my eyes were opened to the truth (not only Democrats but ALSO ALL politicians and political agendas but I castigate Democrats here because nationally they continue to lie about their agenda and fool their constituents. Repubs do too TBF).

Are You Willing To Give “It” Up For Better Health? If Not You May Be Addicted

I’m always amazed at people who say that they want to lose weight or achieve better health or improve some medical condition with keto since they have seen how it is worked for me and want the results that I have but are not willing to does what I did and even stick with it to see the desired result.

They want to do it “their way” and my word to you is “go ahead…it’s your life” and I move on getting healthier and healthier while they remain caught in their own trap.

I also love how people are not willing to give up things that are harming them and will even say “oh…I don’t know if I can live without that” or “I can’t give that up” not realizing that that is an addictive mindset that God never intends for us to have.

For example. When the body has to deal with alcohol the body recognizes it as a poison and to keep it from killing you it basically reroutes most of its functionality to the liver so that it can metabolize it into a less harmful state and thus be excreted out of the body.

This process takes time and the entire time that this is happening no healing occurs, there is no repairing of muscle tissues, and to the person who is trying to lose body fat you must be aware that while the body in this protective process EVERYTHING that you eat regardless of whether it’s healthy or not (even Keto food) is immediately stored as fat on the body.

Over time as this process is repeated time and again the body starts to adapt and give up fighting what you are doing to it and the result is a dangerous fatty liver that can shorten your life in the worst and in the least make it very difficult to lose body fat.

So when I explain this process to someone who seeks my advice on losing body fat or who is seeking to reverse or improve a metabolic medical condition that they need to give up drinking alcohol at least for the first month or two of keto and they tell me “I don’t know if I can give it up” (whether it’s alcohol or certain foods) I tell them “it appears that you have something much more serious and that is a burgeoning addiction that you need to deal with because what you are saying to me is that “it” is more important than your health, possibly having more time with your loved ones, or improving your condition.”

This behavior is also mirrored in our walk with God as we show our true colors when we are not willing to give up something that He is telling us to give up when we know that He knows what is best for our lives.

So I ask you today…what do you want? What goals do you want to achieve? Are you unknowingly bearing an addiction that may be killing you body and/or spirit?

If you “can’t” live without it for sometime (more than a couple of months) even when you know that it is harming you then you have your answer and this is the time for you to do something about it.

If you pray the pray!

If you do something else then do that (I prefer prayer myself).

BUT DO SOMETHING and stop being a slave to that thing that you know is slowly (or quickly) killing you.

Hey…I know from experience that getting on the road to healing from an addiction be it hidden or other is not easy but I can promise you that if you make those changes that you won’t regret it.

Take the time to be the best YOU that YOU can be and let nothing be it the enemy or more often your “flesh” if you are a “believer” or if not then whatever you believe don’t allow “it” to stop you!

I believe in you so start believing in yourself as you deserve to be healthy.

Feel like you’re in a prison? God is NOT the one who put you there but He does have all of the keys to let you out

While watching the prison/jail documentary TV show “60 Days In” one of the participants remarked at how real it had become as they went in and one door locked behind him, then another, and then another.

At each stage the doors locked behind him further taking him deeper and deeper into the prison resulting into him developing a feeling of deepening hopelessness.

As I watched i felt that God was impressing upon my soul to write this to someone who I feel like is going through a prison of sorts right now and who feels that they have gone further behind so many locked doors and so deep into their personal prison that they no matter how hard they try will never come out.

To whomever this is I want you to know that though you feel “locked in” that God has impressed upon my heart today to let you know that all you have to do is turn to Him for though He is NOT the one who imprisoned you HE is the ONLY One that holds all of the keys to every locked door and that you can be free if you only call on His Name!

Loose the fear, the shame, the pride, and that “I’m such a sorry person” attitude and realize that you have a Heavenly Inheritance in Jesus and all that YOU have to do is claim it in His Name!

He loves you!!!

Through a TV show He stopped this brother and had me write this love note to you to ensure that you know that He indeed has heard your prayers, feels your pain, knows your need, and has dealt with it all through His Son Jesus.

Call on Him and walk out of that prison that YOU are keeping yourself in and He just wanted me to remind you that some of the doors that you came into your prison by will remain locked for good as you don’t need to revisit everything behind each door to enter into the freedom that He has planned for you…simply as the song says “Walk on by” (by Dionne Warwick).

Rest in and accept the peace that He is giving you as He has already paid a steep price for you in allowing His Perfect Son Jesus to pay the perfect penalty for an imperfect person that didn’t even deserve it…that is just how He rolls!!
